As a proof-of-concept for his short action-horror flick Overnight Deliver-Z, Marcus shot and edited this trailer. It was then utilized on Indiegogo to create buzz and raise the necessary funds to finish making the movie.
BIO
Marcus Taylor, a former U.S. Army veteran, transitioned from a dedicated military career to follow his passion for filmmaking. With eight years of service under his belt, he embarked on a new journey in storytelling through film.
In 2021, he completed his studies at Southern Maine Community College, setting the stage for his current enrollment at the renowned Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he anticipates graduating in the spring of 2024.
Marcus's commitment to storytelling has led him to wear multiple hats in the film industry. He has directed, written, produced, and edited a compelling short film titled 'Overnight Deliver-Z,' which celebrated its world premiere at the prestigious Maine Mayhem Film Festival.
Throughout his journey at SCAD, Marcus has gained invaluable experience as a versatile filmmaker, working as a production sound mixer, editor, and director on numerous projects. His passion for both narrative and documentary storytelling fuels his ambitions to direct feature films in the future.
With a rich background in the military and a newfound passion for filmmaking, Marcus Taylor is dedicated to bringing unique and compelling stories to the screen, blending his diverse experiences into the world of cinema.
